Let’s do this! I bought a lot of things in January. I also bought a metric ton of baby things that are a story for another Substack, frankly. For now, here’s a little update and my 11 Amazon non baby-related must-haves for this month.

What I’m watching: Shrinking on Apple Plus. The script! The pace! How did this show not pick up every single Emmy? Everyone is in it is an utter delight.

What I’m listening to: The Mike Birbiglia episode of Smartless — so good.

What I’m eating: The Methodology Luxury Nutrition Program. This isn’t a thing I bought as a civilian; I was gifted a 4-day Seafood & Vegan Reset. But as someone who gagged down Sakara cleanses biannually that I didn’t even like (though they worked well), you’d best believe I’ll be switching my biannual reset to Methodology — which I will be buying as a civilian. More to come on this once I’m done the full four days (which I also prefer to Sakara’s Dickensian five days). I’ve also tried Thistle, which was okay — but Methodology is incredible. Stay tuned for my full review.

Here are this month’s Amazon finds!

  1. I wear this oversized sweatshirt so often, I’m considering a second one in black. It’s the ideal thing for snow days.

  2. I don’t know when I’ll get to wear this stunning bathing suit that looks like it costs a lot more than it did, but I’m hoping it’ll be soon.

  3. I had my in-laws over for brunch and realized I had nothing to put cream in — like at all. We had to have an enormous carton on the table taking up a huge amount of real estate. Later that weekend, I bought two of these. They’re perfect.
