This week was rough, to say the least. The fact that Iām only getting this Substack out mid-day on a Friday is everything you need to know. The highs this week are increased childcare hours, so I no longer have to fit a full workday into half a workday. The weather has been sublime. Iāve been able to take advantage of all the great beach and woodsy walking spaces Rye has to offer, thanks to the weather and a little more time. The low was some stupid family drama (a cousin of my momās and her daughters essentially ditched a second memorial my family threw expressly for them that I managed, in a nutshell, without notice, and then just pretended they didnāt know about it despite being invitedāCOOL) and my eight month-old baby, Reid, is sleeping like absolute garbage this week. But we got through it and I have a weekend of few plans ahead of me and a diminishing pile of work.
I decided to lift the paywall on this monthās installment of Amazon favorites, so I hope you enjoy if youāre a free subscriber!

A good bronze-brown liner is hard to find and this one is acesāand is a fantastic price.
This bow lounge set is an elevated duo to wear when I wake up, but Iām not ready to be dressed dressed. And yet, I want to wear something I can wear on a walk or to work before wearing an outfit outfit. You know?
Hereās a Missoni-esque towel that has a decidedly un-Missoni-esque price and we love that.
I didnāt know I needed it, but I do: This ruffled, striped top that comes in a range of shades. I plan to pair it with black or blue jeans all fall.
I can envision wearing these leopard flats with a gray long-sleeve T or sweatshirt and a straight-leg jean to the city for a fun, casual look.
Iām doing a lingerie overhaul, and I already talked about these undies, but I stocked up on an extra two pairs because I was finding I couldnāt bear to be separated from these when they were in the wash.
The most useful thing I bought by far in months is this high-waisted, long pocket skirt. It has such a good waistband, which is vital for a skirt. None of these tiny waistbands or worse, no waistband, for me. With something long, I absolutely need that. Iām 5ā5ā on a good day. This is so cute and can be dressed up or down, worn with a black tee or blouse for a dress effect. It looks just as good with sneakers as it does with heels or wedges. You canāt go wrong.
Iām intrigued by this at-home hair trimmer I bought for a songābut I havenāt used it yet so stay tuned for my review.
This pullover is ideal for post-yoga, weekends, or WFH. I bought one and am pretty sure I need a second one.
Similarly, I bought this dope leopard-print sweatshirt in brown, but I think I need an additonal one in green.
Powdered peanut butter is my favorite. I was buying ready-made for years and I realized that this stuff tastes better and I love to make it with warm water for PBJs or on top of apple slices with a little salt on top. I make it a super creamy, almost liquid consistency and itās delish. I also love it for smoothies.
I finally just started subscribing and saving on Dermaflash dermaplaning blade refills and my life is better for it. They recommend using one per dermaplaning (as if) but I use each blade for three sessions (I do one every two to three weeks) and knowing the blades are just replenishing without my having to think about it is a major load off.
I am always in the market for underwear that does not give me a wedgie. Can I assume these will not ride up?
Also, Iām having breast reduction surgery next Thursday (happy early 50th birthday to ME!) and I canāt wait to wear crewnecks and other fun clothes again! That leopard sweatshirt is super cute.
