I remember first learning about Elta MD UV Clear Sunscreen from famed former Vogue beauty editor Sarah Brown, who hailed it her favorite non pore-clogging SPF. This was maybe a decade ago, if not more.
Elta MD is probably the sunscreen with the longest-standing buzz surrounding it, in a crowded suncare space that gets more crowded by the second, if we’re being real with each other (and we always are here!).
As someone who can break out from sunscreen, I have to be careful with my facial formulas. As a beauty writer and a woman in her 40s who is trying not to court sun damage, I need to wear sunscreen every day. In short?
