The bad news is that my nighttime skincare routine is more extensive—and expensive—than my daytime routine. The good news is that it works.

I learned from years of copywriting for Estée Lauder (I’ve written more about Advanced Night Repair Serum than probably any other thing in my life, trust—and it remains one of my favorites, despite it not making a cameo in my current lineup) that your skin is best able to repair and regenerate itself at night. So we take advantage of this time and employ our luxe formulas!

During the day, I vitamin C it up, but that’s it in terms of actives. At night, it’s all about a reusable makeup cleansing wipe, the best balm cleanser, my go-to essence, the serum to end all serums I use for three months of the year only, a rich moisturizer, an eye cream and wrinkle patches a few times a week.
