It was inevitable, really, that I’d become as woo as I have. My mother is a former astrologist. We make no major purchases nor sign any contracts when Mercury is in retrograde. I grew up in a no-sugar household and while my particular brand of woo includes more Feng Shui, candles and crystals than my mom’s, I credit her with bringing me into this fold. Her unrealized business dream was to create a tarot card cafe in Philadelphia in the ‘70s—an entrepreneurial feat that was way, way ahead of its time, just like pretty much everything else about her. The things she’s been on about for decades are now mainstream, though she dealt with criticism in the past.

She’s always lived in the future and right now, I’m asking for your good thoughts, vibes (I’m woo, remember?), prayers, however you do it, so she can continue to live in the future. My mother was recently diagnosed with lung cancer (she hasn’t smoked in 50ish years, but that’s the situation) and has been in the hospital for a week to address the heart- and lung-related symptoms before she can start treatment. My 103 year-old grandmother is also in the hospital for pneumonia so please send good energy to her, as well.

It’s been a difficult couple of weeks. I’m employing all good luck and health Feng Shui and manifestations I can for both of them, but I also want to share all I’ve learned about Feng Shui for wealth. These are the seven things that have made an enormous difference for me—to the point I’m shocked—since I started employing them! I’ve picked up these tips from psychics, mediums, Feng-Shui experts and books.
