Hello! Two important announcements before we get started.

  1. This newsletter isn’t free to run (the “things I buy” in the title means I’m buying this stuff!) so I want to thank the paid subscribers who keep this project running. To that end, I’m giving away one GHD Alluring Jade Blowdryer to one lucky paid subscriber. U.S. only, the deadline to enter (i.e., be a paid subscriber) is Friday, December 15.

  2. Related! Paid annual subscriptions are on sale for just over $50 (down from $70) through the end of the month.

An Anker tiny power bank ensures I won’t run out of phone battery on days when I train it into the city — which these days, is once a week, soon to be twice a week, for doctor’s appointments. Thanks to

for this rec!

This Yamakazi Slim Bathroom Cart is a game changer in my kitchen, which boasts an aggressively medium amount of storage. I use it for storing seltzer and other drinks and keep it by the fridge.

We rent an old house in Rye and inherited corner shower shelves that are likely from the Bush administration (likely junior but possibly senior). My products, which, as you can imagine, are plentiful, were falling off of this leaning tower of Pisa-esque structure DAILY. As picking things up off the ground is becoming increasingly impossible, I decided to get rid of the old and purchase these glorious shelves which hold lots of heavy, new body washes and the like so I can keep reporting on my extensive everything showers. Stay tuned for the winter edition, coming soon.
